Prices and conditions

Rental of S/S Vega: 10,600 NOK per hour

Rental of S/V Legend: 10,900 NOK per hour

Food and drinks are ordered additionally.

Prices are excluding VAT.

• Hourly rates are calculated from the agreed time until arrival and the last passenger has left the boat.

• The boat rental includes vessel, service personnel, bunkers, crew, port expenses and insurance.

• For evening cruises, there is a minimum 5-hour boat rental.

• If the trip ends before the scheduled time, the customer will be invoiced according to the original agreement.

• For pick-up/drop-off locations other than Oslo Port, the customer will be charged 50% of the hourly rate for the duration of the trip.

• At some other ports in the Oslo Fjord, additional port charges may apply. These are in addition to the hourly rate.

After agreed booking, a contract is sent for digital signing. This is returned to Vega Sailing AS. A deposit invoice is included and must be paid before the due date. The contract is binding when we have received the signed contract and the deposit has been paid.

On our evening trips (from 3pm onwards) there is a requirement to eat on board. This means that there is no opportunity to bring your own food. Orders for drinks, etc. must be confirmed and sent to us no later than 8 days before the event. The same applies to orders for drinks other than those we have in our range.

S/S Vega and S/V Legend have liability insurance.

We cannot accept responsibility for forgotten or left behind items (but will of course help as best we can to locate these for unfortunate guests).

Vega Sailing disclaims any liability for loss of life, damage to person or property that can be validly waived under Chapter 6 of the Norwegian Maritime Act, or other losses due to accident or operational disruption. Otherwise, liability limitations apply under Chapter 9 of the Norwegian Maritime Act.

On board our ships we have a liquor allowance for beer, wine and spirits. Serving alcohol is subject to the same regulations as for restaurants. It is not permitted to enjoy brought-in beverages, which the customer is obliged to inform his guests about. Passengers who arrive visibly intoxicated will be turned away at the gangway.

The person(s) who do not follow the captain's instructions may be put ashore. Violation of these provisions is considered a breach of contract, and gives the captain (based on his own safety assessment) the right to cancel the entire event. Vega Sailing's losses in connection with the trip must be covered by the customer.

You can choose whether the entire trip, including food and drinks, should be invoiced, or whether drinks should be paid for by the individual guest after consumption.

When the trip is over, you will be sent an invoice for the assignment. This is net cash, and must be paid within 10 days from the invoice date. If the invoice is unpaid, 1% interest will accrue for each month that has begun.

Private individuals and foreign companies (as well as companies unknown to us) will be invoiced for the entire boat rental and all ordered items 8 days before the trip.

Due to the short and hectic season, cancellations will result in direct losses for us, if not made in good time before the trip. If cancelled more than 30 days before the event date, the customer will pay the agreed deposit plus VAT.

If cancelled less than 30 days before the event date, the customer will be invoiced for vessel rental.

If cancelled 8 or fewer days before the event date, the customer will be invoiced for vessel rental, as well as everything that has been ordered for the trip (food, beverages, etc.)
